Greetings RPF Soldiers
Yes, it’s that time again. No worries though, with RPF points I believe branches will stay way more active then usual. I’d like to tell Ziehen two thing though. Firstly, thanks for helping the branches by giving me the idea to use RPF points with them. Secondly, I’d like to tell you that you also hurt the branches by forcing us to create a new air force site. I’d call you a retard, but we know that you’re not one.
So here is the list of prizes as we’ll call them. The new ones are in red. 
Branches for Dummies
What is the point of a branch?
Branches have been around for a long time. I wasn’t around when they started but some guy said Oagalthrop came up with the idea and I’ve been to lazy to confirm or deny what he said.
A branch is simply a certain part of your army. In RPF we have four divisions; Air Force (started by Kona), Marines (started as a mini branch by Dragon), Military (started by Commando), and Navy (Started by Mario?). The main purpose was to have fun, and to help organize stuff. Over the years there would be vicious branch rival-res. Different branches dominated over the years, during Commando’s first term it was military, then Air force. AF would dominate into Kg’s term, then it was even for about the first two weeks into Ziehens term (it had been about a month since Kg retired). After that navy dominated as I became navy branch leader. Navy would be by far the dominant branch until I got promoted. Then navy was the top branch, but not as dominant. Marines would have a glimpse of dominance during Commando’s second term as leader (though I would return from being inactive for two months to find myself navy BL again, then I made it even). Since Kyle was leader Navy and Marines have stayed the dominant branches, though Air Force has come out strong recently also.
As you may have guessed, it is a competition to be the best branch. Think of it this way: there are four sandwich stands within 3 minutes walk from eachother. They each have to lower their prices in order to get people to come buy their sandwichs instead of the sandwichs from the other stands. This way, the people benefit from the low prices. So the branches are the stands and the people are RPF. But branches only work when there are troops to be in them, I believe RPF is doing well enough to get branches going succesfully.
What is a mini branch?
Mini branches are much like branches, but in miniature size. Mini branches, really are divisions. Some mini branches in the past have been the Coast Guard, The Seals (those both were divisions of navy). Marines started as a mini branch but ended up being a branch in the end. The newest mini branch is the RPF Rainbow Ponies, it was started the other day by Bleu Missy. The great thing about mini branches is it gives people above the highest branch rank (warlord) a chance to still be involved in branches. You might be getting excited because you get 30 extra points for starting a mini branch, but all mini branches must be approved by me, and if you give up on your mini branch after a week or something then i will take your points away.
The ranks dont say what branch I’m in, what do I do?
Currently, not everyone is assigned to a branch. The lowest rank that currently has branches listerd on the ranks is marshal. We will be getting branches into the lower ranks soon. For now though, if you dont know what branch you’re in then leave a comment and I’ll tell you.

Actually no, the Marines and the Military had a competition for dominace during Commando’s secound term. Niether side really won because after the first week everything regarding branches was pretty much forgoten and by the time Mocar was promoted to Head-warlord they had all and out died. But that’s not the point. The point is no, the Marines weren’t dominant at the time.

ok, lol. I wasn’t around when the branches started, so i just asked Dragon. Though I know that Kona started AF.
As for the marines stuff, I just remember thinking they were the top branch when i returned. I’ll dit my post someday.

My mini branch is for special operations and intelligence. I am the leader and only people mod ranks are aloud, unless they have been around for a year, recommended by a 2ic or leader, A ww1 veteran or an Rpf legend.
