Avengers: Endgame Trailer Analysis
Today I bring you a trailer analysis on the upcoming film Avengers: Endgame. Here I am going to tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about the trailer.
It begins with a bright white landscape with shards of metal. It then goes to Iron Man laying in the debris saying “It seems like 1000 years ago, I fought my way out of that cave, became Iron Man” this then shows a prototype of an iron man helmet visibly sparking. Then an award that is boxed in glass saying “Proof that Tony Stark has a heart” followed by a female holding an iron man helmet, holding it to our forehead. As this happens Iron Man says “Realized i loved you.” It then cuts to Iron Man on the Guardians of the Galaxy ship followed by Iron Man saying “I know I said no more surprises, but i was really hoping to pull off one last one.” Here we can see Iron Man in the cockpit of the ship adrift in space seemingly alone. It then cuts to 1942 at an American recruitment center with a young Captain America looking at a soldier seeing his reflection where the face is. It is followed by a woman saying “The world has changed, none of us can go back.” Cutting to a view of the statue of liberty and a man teaching who i presume is his daughter archery. Following this is the woman saying “All we can do is our best, and sometimes the best thing we can do is start over.” Followed by men in tuxedos carrying a military casket to a funeral. It then cuts to a black and white view of Wakanda and Thor talking to Zeus, then staring at the ground as the disintegration scene from infinity war happens following Thor saying “I saw all these people die.” Then Captain America saying “I keep telling everybody they should move on. Some do, but not us. As Bucky disintegrates it cuts to Captain America out of suit in a building with the remaining avengers. Followed by this is scenes of a city as Black Widow says “Even if there’s a small chance, we owe this to everyone who’s not in this room to try.” Followed by some of the remaining avengers with Captain America saying “We will, whatever it takes.” As it slides through the remaining heroes with Hawkeye saying “Whatever it takes.” With Black Widow repeating the phrase and Iron Man right after with more hero slideshows and the Avengers logo with the classic theme with “Endgame” showing up below. It is ended with Thor standing in front of an unknown woman who i think is the Wasp but i can’t tell, whilst Thor grabs his hammer and says “I like this one.”
My personal predictions. Before we begin reading beyond here is a risk of spoilers if I’m correct. If I am you have hereby been warned.
I think how they included how Iron Man was alone in the Guardians ship is no mistake. We all know how he was stuck on Titan. He surely found something or someone to get him to the ship. I also think that the second world war will have major sway in this as Thanos recently acquired the time stone, giving him the ability to control time. Not to mention the “Realized I loved you” quote from Iron Man. Did his fiancee survive? Will she somehow become a hero or helper to the Avengers? So many things are laid out in the trailer such as whether Wakanda falls or not. I personally think Wakanda will be the Avengers new hideout. Or perhaps the Avengers find someone left in Wakanda to show them how to get safely back to New York as it appears they are there from certain movie clips. The part where a woman says how sometimes the best thing we can do sometimes is start over is Captain America’s love interest leaving him either in 1942 or in real time. On the topic of the army funeral I suppose one of Captain America’s friends perishes in combat with the Wehrmacht and this pushes Captain America to join the superhuman soldier project in the US army. To bring death to the Nazis for the death of his dearest friend. Seeing Ant Man there makes me think he also escape the quantum realm somehow possibly finding the dissolved heroes there. Perhaps they did not die, just simply reassembled in the quantum realm confused on how they got there. I feel this would be the most realistic thing Marvel would do. This could also tie in parallel universes that the dissolved Avengers would travel to where they were evil and would be hunted down in an almost lynch mob and forced to fight their alternate selves. I also feel Thanos would try to set up a galactic headquarters for his tyrant empire that the Avengers that survived would need to sneak into and try to eliminate Thanos and find a way to reverse his actions. Not to mention one of Stan Lee’s final cameos which will probably make all of us cry in theater. Nonetheless, the remaining Avengers seem dead set on eliminating Thanos to avenge their friends.
