Dear RPF members,

I am shocked at the lethargic reaction by most of you towards the prospect of ending the cease fire!  This war brought RPF back on its feet, let a lightning bolt of adrenalin and euphoria rush through each and every one of you RPF troops. It made RPF a war active army again. But look where we are now!

I am not here to make a thesis of criticism relating to the cease fire – well, not in its generality. I am here, however, to state something that no one in the High Command seems to get. I quote Commando’s paragraph relating to the cease fire.

” … until the elections are done.”

Did you see it? Now check the date. It’s 9 February; the post was made on 29 January -  the elections completed on the same day. So … we have been sitting on our fat asses for more than a week, oblivious to this fact.

About the Allies Meeting – what a failure. Lucrid this statement seems, but it must be stated in this fashion. No one showed up, hence I bumped the Special High Command Meeting (SHCM) right up to 6:10 p.m. Which only saw six people (out of ten) showing up. Same story today. People! We’ll never get things done this way? So, in an attempt to save this army from dying in the quicksand of lethargy, I ask you, all RPF members combined:

Do we really need a dictatorship to get this army runnning again?

Naturally, my reaction to this question is of full neutrality. But I will say this. Surrendering is not an option, Amitc87. Anyone else who suggests this is not fit for the High Command. (Because I despise the general belief that surrendering, in this or a similar context, is “okay”.)

Osprey Edit: I’m leaving in a few minutes for a day and a half long train ride to Colorado. I have to go help my mom deal with stuff in my grandparents old house. I think I’ll be back the Friday after this Friday.

The dreaded idea: a plague of medieval proportions hitting the United States today. To make a long story short, all hell would break loose. Things would resemble some similarities to post-plague Europe, in that there would be a ton of land, and nobody to own it. There would be some huge differences though.

Thanks  to air travel, it would surely spread even faster than the plague of Europe. However, this could be prevented, as in this day and age we don’t fear medicine. We quarantine the infected, and immediately try to find a cure. But let’s say that hypothetically, we didn’t contain it, or we couldn’t contain it. If up to fifty percent of the population died, we would be in serious trouble.  Crime rates, post-plague would probably go down, though. This is a difficult and touchy subject, because there’s a fine line between saying “a lower population could aid our country in some ways,” and saying  “Let’s go kill the people, for the people.” It would be an absolute tragedy, at the risk of sounding like I have dissociative identity disorder. From this point on, I’ll do my best to point  all the bad things about this.

Our nation’s military would statistically have to lose members, which would leave us more vulnerable to enemy attack. Our nation’s work force would also statistically be lowered, which again is not a good thing. With the population of the United States being over three-hundred-million, an epidemic such as this could very well mean that up to one-hundred-and-fifty-million people could die! We wouldn’t have enough time to cremate a body before another dropped dead! If movies like “Doomsday” and “28 Days Later” have shown us anything, it’s that large urban centers with many people living close together are perfect places for outbreaks to start and spread. And back in the middle ages, the urban centers weren’t anything like today’s urban centers. Sure we’re cleaner (a lot cleaner), and have the medical advancements, but should an epidemic like this happen anyway, several hundred people could become infected simultaneously because one inconsiderate person didn’t  cover their mouth when they coughed.

I don’t think… At least I don’t hope that there isn’t an extremist movement like their was in the Medieval times. The funny thing about human nature is that we’re always trying to pass the blame. There WILL be people that blame God… or a god. Like the woman in “The Mist”, or that crazy man in the video-game “Deadrising”, who blamed the zombie apocalypse on mankind’s sins (although based on the story of that particular game, he wasn’t too far off… but I digress). But I have enough faith in humanity to assume that the people won’t begin inflicting pain upon themselves to appease God.

I would like to think that on average, the people know enough about how diseases work, that they’d be careful. The Media will probably aid in giving people health tips… if not too excessively. Today people do individual research on diseases, and know enough about the human body to keep themselves from dying of the common cold. And we certainly aren’t going to deprive ourselves of white blood cells to help get the sickness out of the body. An outbreak of a plague-like disease today would probably NOT be as bad as it was in the middle ages, honestly.

Or... maybe there never was a "plague".

Culturally, it would definitely up the awareness on staying healthy. It’ll be a good kick in the pants for people who don’t regularly wash their hands, and whatnot. Lot’s of companies will probably end up shutting down. Whether it’s because your entire work-staff died, or because your customers fell ill to the dreaded disease. With companies shutting down, are economy will be in bad shape. But humanity will survive, as it always has. Eventually a resistance to the virus will be built up, and order will be relatively restored… even if it does come from some kind of tyrannical corporation selling safety in a giant aristocratic tower-city (Land of the Dead style).

And I apologize for brushing against the subject of Hollywood Zombies so much; the similarities just strike me as remarkable. And being a Zombie-maniac, I can’t got more than a few days without bringing them into conversation.

I have yet again modified the High Command setup. No, it is not to waste time – it is to make the seemingly tedious steps now for the most efficient RPF of tomorrow. Because who knows how much time for modifications I won’t have tomorrow? (I think I have a weirdass soccer practice tomorrow that our beraged coach scheduled for no reason – we won 4-0.) Anyway, with personal thoughts gone on paper aside, here to summarize hours of consideration:

Mijos has been appointed (“permanent”) owner of the chat and Silver General for Foreign Relations – synonymous to Secretary of Foreign Affairs, or more commonly, Chief Ambassador (to All) (Big, Small, Long, Short, Hello, Goodbye, Grey … damnit, Grey!) Welcome aboard the High Command, Mijos; you more than definitely deserved this promotion!

Elitesof has joined our Army as a Golden General. It is to provide a retrospect and counterpoint in the Golden General Department – second, third, etc. and most opinions (opinions of overly intoxicated persons may be ignored for reasons of unstable mind) are important for a well though-out nation and High Command. After all, if everyone agrees with me all the time when their conscience tells them not to … why the hell should they get free sandwiches with dessert of choice?

All right, this is it. I vow not to update this thingy-ma-jingy below this sentence within five minutes (but seriously, this IS it!).

RPF High Command (10): a collective of an amount of high-ranked officers in the Army of the Rebel Penguin Federation. The amount of members is determined by Mr. Kickass [defined on page 270, line 31]. Current setup: Mr. Kickass, Mr. Pwnage, Mr. Holy, That Guy – but only if he doesn’t spill his slurpee on my oath [legal name: Karakoran], Dj, Elitesof, Crazyboy86, Amitc87, Mijos, Apocolypse66

RPF Grand Council (for feedback from troops – for news from within the Army) (10): a collective of an amount of middle-ranked officers in the Army of the Rebel Penguin Federation. It is used for internal communication; unlike the High Command, this council emphasizes concerns and feedback of all troops. Mr. Kickass, Amitc87 (internal affairs), Alex N, Apocolypse66, Cewan, Tidle Fin; plus one Warlord per branch: Nielsenkc, Ashes1627, -vacant- [Marines], Auburndude

In case, I reserve the right to veto anything the other nine members vote for – unless it’s 66 2/3% plus. Then I lose. Which means 7 for each collective, because > is not =.

In “The Future” (that should be my show…), we shall assist the Nachos in their recruitment session on all their servers – all day long.

Nothing much has been happening this week in my opinion. But I have been informed of a few epic ideas we must unleash as soon as possible. Seriously, their revolutionary actually. But thats the RPF for ya, revolutionizing Club Penguin Armies every other month.

Anyway, in recent News Today:

• UMA are withdrawing from the war with RPF. Since it was caused mostly because one RPF member decided to play both armies in a joke for self interests. UMA gave me one piece of advice when they told me this: Raid ACP, a lot.
• Nachos are still doing good from what I hear.
• The Tacos are still doing really good, they won their invasion of the Brownies recently. Wait a second, theres an army called the Brownies? Where do I find these guys? I need to reward them for being delicous.

Finding out that an army named the Brownies is like finding out theres a cereal made up of Mini Muffins. WHICH THERE IS. I’m still trying to locate a bowl of these, till then I will stay in my current rampaging angry mood.

I am pleased to note that the recruitment is going very well. We have already gained more than 30 new troops over this recruitment session series. I would just like to announce these changes in the nation:

Ambassador Weege has been fired. He was removed from his office about 24 hours ago. This action was due to concealing crucial information to the High Command, incompetence and – overall – a rather dishonourable variant of treason; and a dishonourable way to end one’s career. To find out who his replacement shall be – keep reading, YOU!

Ambassador Mijos has been … promoted! He has shown great skill, patience, diplomacy and overall competence in the past 24 hours, his work been assisted by his special insignia and directive, as well as his ownership. He shall become the Chief Ambassador to … EVERYONE! Congratulations, Mijos, you really deserved this overdue promotion!

So, for all those keen ones out there: yes, I did change the title of my cabinet to High Command. (Humans like us [yes, I am one, too] are prone to adapting one’s own “army” into a thing similar to their country’s.)

Either I’ve gotten smarter or you’ve become dumber commando[You've gotten dumber, that's why you think you've gotten smarter.]. Just after reading the first part of your post I found an amazing amount of holes in your argument.

You took the first step and RPF has said many times that the purpose of the alliance/war is to destroy Acp so a new army can become number 1[No, I think he was refering to the mild bashing on the ACP site and the high bashing on Xat chats. More or less he phrased it wrong.].

Miscellaneous Edit to Tomb: The reason both your post and our edit about emails to CP were removed was because this is getting way to political.  We’re not even actually fighting anymore, we’re basically trying to fight each other through emails to CP, which frankly, is really stupid, pointless, and not fun for anyone.  Don’t go and make a new email post, one, it will just get CP extremely annoyed at CP armies in general (no one likes mass emails), and two, did you read Meadow’s post? Yesterday the Nacho leadership did thee[*the] most classless, tasteless, crude, hurtful and harmful thing[My eyes are just glasing over it by now.] I have ever witnessed as a member or soldier in CP armies. They posted on their site that an ACP Lt. General/Mod is in fact a registered Pedophile[ZOMG HE IS?!?!?!], and warned everyone to beware. This was not enough for the Nacho leadership, knowing our chat was full, knowing they could not beat us, Ad’s, the supreme Nacho leader, who was afforded modship on ACP chat, came on to the ACP with no owner present, of course he waited till then, and guest banned every member on chat, then took his troops to invade Snowfort[Yay?].

I, Dryvit, went to talk to Tomb, who was the only owner on at the time, and his reply was “Lulwut” “Bring it on”.  This is his reply to asking politely[lolwut?] that the pedophile post be removed. Now, ACP will not stoop[*will stoop  (fix'd)] as low as the Nachos did by posting such barbaric, incendiary blatant lies[Again, what if it's true? O_O] about any soldier. So I hit them where it hurts, in their recruiting efforts[Oh please.]. I saw where they have a letter writing campaign in effect to try to force Club Penguin into bringing back the Fiesta[Fiesta is fun, mah allies grow.], which every army knows in inherently unfair to all but the Nachos[No, it's unfair to you, not EVERYONE, just you.]. So I posted that ACP should request instead of a party to benefit just one small group on CP, have an Earth Day celebration that ALL members of CP could enjoy[LOLWUT? You mean, you posted something for ACP to grow from, as in, your trying to give ACP TWO pro-ACP parties?! RPF DOESN'T EVEN HAVE ONE! Were the hell is RPF day?]. RE: Freedom of Speech?: 

Well it has been practice in recent[week ago] times to hammer ACP for its apparent prevention of Freedom of Speech. It is everywhere you look[You mentioned 2 sites, I wouldn't count Nachos and RPF as everywhere, although I'm glad that people consider RPF that big of an influence.]. 

Nachos Site: 

Pie almost certainly insinuating us. [No, they were insulting Jim's army.] 

RPF are big supporters of it, I found the term “freedom of Speech” 20+ times on the second pages[Again, not recent if it's on the 2nd page.] of posts on the RPF site, all of them referring to ACP[And RPF, saying we have it and ACP doesn't.]. Here’s just one: From THIS post. 

RPF also accusing our supresion of Freedom of Speech. [Yay, you used my work. =D To bad you didn't notice it until now. I feel like that person that wrote Moby Dick.]   

But here is the question, are we really suppressing freedom of Speech? [Yes] 

Well, here are some common examples of what enemy soldiers say when they come to our chat, and then complain we are suppressing freedom of speech:
“ACP IS AN ARMY OF NOOBS!” 

“ACP HAS NO TACTICS!” 

“ACP leaders are pathetic” 

Every single one of these things is going to start a fight.[Yes, between the sane and the zombies.] Yes? [Ya, that's what I said, yes.] 

Well, that is clearly the result that will come from making these detrimental comments. A lot of fighting. [Meh, but think about it, then people will learn that not EVERYONE is listening to only you.]

This shows that even in America, the land that most of our accusers live, is not completely open to Freedom of Speech. [That's wikipedia, not the Constitution. The Constitution says I can say whatever I want as long as it's not a threat and you can piss off if you think it's against the law.] 

You see, there is a rather obvious limitation to Freedom of Speech. As the picture says “the right is commonly subject to limitations, such as on “hate speech”. It is this hate speech which is what our accusers usually throw at us on our chat, and results in them getting banned. [What's the problem with that? You define hate speech as anything against ACP.]

This is the definition of “Hate Speech” and the limitations of Freedom of Speech. [We can't lie? But we're not lying. And can't riot? Really? That's physically trying to force Free Speech. All we're doing is bashing you repetivly with words.] 

As you can see, making these statements on ACP chat is going to start a riot/argument[Arguements arn't riots, and most of the ACP will say RPF hates Europes and cusses a lot, then ban us, or flame us for something not true(AGAINST THE RULES).], and you have to know that when making such statements. As I have said before, this is a rather obvious limitation[Okey, we can't say anything because you'll start a flame war? Really most of the members don't respond, only the owners.], and it is one that we impose on ACP chat. So please, other armies, when you are making your accusations please bear this in mind as it is the reasoning for getting banned, nothing to do with suppressing freedom of speech. Mkay?

Nono: Just to add to this, here is the bill (which I proposed and had passed last summer[Sure havn't been following it.]) upon which our freedom of speech is based. It is not limiting whatsoever. This is our standard, and anyone who breaks it does not reflect the views of ACP[Your basiclly saying, that anyone against ACP doesn't reflect the views of ACP? No duh.]: 

The Free Speech Bill

1. No type of punishment shall be administered for criticism, unless the criticism includes offensive language or sexist, racist, or ethnicist content or is a spam message[I think you'll just say it's offensive to say ACP's leaders need to not kick everyone for invalid resons.].
2. The “no being ’smart’ to the mods” rule will be removed from the chat rules[That makes sense.]. However, if this “smartness” is displayed arbitrarily to just infuriate the mod["It makes me mad to have you live, your now banned forever from ACP chat until you comit suicide." There's no real base for that, you can basiclly say anything is arbitary by starting a topic about burritos while they're talking about something else.], this falls under the catagory of spam and will be punished as such[As, whatever the mod/owner can do.].
3. This bill applies to both owners and mods.
4. Any violations of this bill can be reported to an owner (unless an owner committed the violation, in which case they shall be reported to a main owner, or a main owner committed this violation, in which case the senate will decide on their punishment through a vote) for punishment to be administered. [Hmmm, so your going to ban a main owner? Really? Did  you somehow think that would work? You can't punish the actual punishment for spam to a main owner.]
