Every week the Art Column chooses a piece of art from the art channel in the RF Discord server to feature here!
This week’s featured art is from AFlyingSpider! This masterpiece was posted on March 19th. It depicts a little doggo with a cowboy hat in a desert landscape! Be sure to send any of your work in #art, and congratulate AFlyingSpider!
The Stories column will release prompts as a writing contest. The winner will be featured in the Insurgent Newspaper! The following prompt gives you the plot of the story you need to follow.
The prompt: Write a paragraph beginning a story about a time traveller who accidentally travels back in time to a historical event and cannot return.
The winning entry of this prompt is:
I want to go home. This is not my home, this place is completely foreign to me. The language they speak, clothes they wear are different; I do not belong. I’m stuck here for the time being, with no hope of return, but I’ve a family back home. The machine refuses to work, the clock is stuck here. Should I grow old and wither with the primitive apes of this time, I will live an unfulfilled life.
My home is not here, in 1342. My home is in 2342.

The People column publishes interviews with RF staff and members weekly. This week, Cosmo was interviewed!
RNM: Hallow! Are you ready for the interview?
Cosmo: Yes, fire away!
RNM: So, starting off the interview, how long have you been in the RF/RPF?
Cosmo: Since about a year and five months, I joined in late November 2017.
RNM: That’s awesome. What would you say is your biggest achievement so far?
Cosmo: I’d say gaining Rebel status in the Hall of Fame and becoming the Rebel commander in such a short time is my biggest achievement.
RNM: What do you hope for the future of the CP Div?
Cosmo: Well, I sure hope that we continue to staying strong and growing at this pace so that we can become the most powerful army there ever was.
RNM: That’s amazing! Moving on, what is the thing you love most about this army?
Cosmo: The community and environment that every single troop contributes to is what makes us special because we are like one big family, RF is like a second family to me and you don’t really need reasons to love your family.
RNM: That’s so sweet, and you’re right. I think that will conclude the interview. Thank you so much for letting me interview you. Is there anything else you would like to add?
Cosmo: Praise Lord Cosmo 24/7! Just kidding, I want the people to enjoy this community and have fun because that’s the essence of RF, don’t take events too seriously, become the best you can be, and always fight the good fight.
That concludes the interview with Cosmo – thanks to Kiki for interviewing him!
