Our mission is to build a community that brings gamers and people with similar (geeky) interests together, and in order to do this, we want all members of our community to feel welcome, respected, and feel that they belong here, and make an impact to the success of our collective team. For that reason, we have developed this list of Community Rules. These will help you understand what is appropriate to share on our website, and what is appropriate interaction on games or chats we use to connect outside of our website.
Here in our community, we have a team of Moderators who police all accounts and the global timeline. Content that is harmful to our Users will be removed without question, and the accounts responsible for content that infringes our community rules and guidelines here will be swiftly dealt with. The follow types of content are prohibited.
- Bullying and Harassment
- Direct Threats communicated either publicly or privately to Users
- Sexual Violence and Exploitation
- Nudity or Sexual Activity (Pornographic Images)
- Hate Speech (Against Race, Nationality, or other)
- Violence and Graphic Content
It is up to the discretion of our Moderators to define what constitutes as these types of content.
Respectful behavior is the foundation that our community is built on. Without cooperation, the Rebel Federation as a collective team could never be successful. All RF Members are advised to treat others like they would want to be treated, as communication will help us problem solve on and off the battlefield. As for behavior that is disrespectful, most often that behavior will infringe our prohibited safety measures.
Securing Your Account and Personal Information
Here in our community, we give all Users a profile to populate with their own content. This content helps other Users interact with you. However, we cannot secure the content that you put on your profile. Anything on your profile is public, and is searchable via the Member directory.
We recommend in general that you do not put information on your profile that you wouldn’t put on other social networking sites, and furthermore recommend that you adhere to basic online safety regarding your own identity.
Policy for Bans
If your account is in violation of one or more of the rules, you will be contacted directly by one of our Moderators as a warning. If you do not comply in working with us, you could face account deletion.
