REBEL BOT – TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT & PRIVACY POLICY

Terms of Service
This Terms of Service Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between the Rebel Federation (“Bot Owner”) and the user (“User”) of the Rebel (Discord) Bot (the “Bot”).
By using the Bot, the User agrees to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If the User does not agree to the terms of this Agreement, they should immediately discontinue use of the Bot.
1. Use of the Bot: The Bot Owner grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Bot for personal or non-commercial purposes.
2. Prohibited Use: The User may not use the Bot in any way that violates applicable laws, rules, or regulations or infringes upon the rights of any third party. The User may not use the Bot for any commercial purposes without the express written consent of the Bot Owner.
3. Limitation of Liability: The Bot Owner shall not be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Bot, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, or other intangible losses.
4. Modifications to the Bot: The Bot Owner may modify or discontinue the Bot at any time without notice. The User agrees that the Bot Owner shall not be liable to the User or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Bot.
5. Intellectual Property: The Bot and all intellectual property rights therein are and shall remain the property of the Bot Owner. The User agrees not to copy, modify, or distribute the Bot or any portion thereof without the express written consent of the Bot Owner.
6. Indemnification: The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Bot Owner, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of the User’s use of the Bot.
7. Termination: This Agreement may be terminated by either party at any time for any reason. Upon termination, the User must immediately cease all use of the Bot.
8. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. Any dispute arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the rules of a court in New York State.
9. Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements or representations, whether written or oral, relating to the Bot.
By using the Bot, the User acknowledges that they have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and sharing of personal information by the Rebel Bot, a Discord bot developed by F6 (hephaestus0810 on Discord). By using the Rebel Bot, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide to us through your use of the bot, such as your Discord user ID and username, server and channel information, and message content. We may also collect usage data, such as the frequency and duration of your use of the bot.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve the Rebel Bot, including to provide support and respond to your requests. We may also use your information to develop new features or services, to conduct research and analytics, and to comply with legal obligations.
The data stored/collected will not be monetized.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
No data collected or stored will be used to train LLMs or for any other Machine Learning/AI purpose.
Data Retention
We retain the above information for as long as necessary to provide the Rebel Bot’s services. We will delete your information upon your request or when it is no longer needed. The collected information by default isn’t stored with two notable exceptions (which the user needs to opt in for) – use of economy commands (stores/updates the user’s balance) and text message reminders. By using these features, the users consents to their data being stored and in the case of reminders, the user agrees to receive the reminder as a direct message from the bot.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and we will post the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of the Rebel Bot after we make changes to this policy indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
